How to Apply

Selection Process

The selection process begins with a review of all submitted applications to ERAS. The program director reviews all ERAS submissions and downloads applications based on the merits of available information. The candidate is selected for interview based on numerous factors including academic performance, current work, interest in the specialty and background. Selection is made and interviews are scheduled.

Multiple faculty members from each institution interview candidates. Interviews run from Mid-October through Mid-December. The faculty ranks candidates and selection is made based on that ranking. Currently, the program does not participate in the NRMP's match program. All selections are made outside the match either before the match commitment date or after the results of the match are posted.
