Radiology Department Conferences

Noon and 4pm conference: Daily noon and frequent 4pm one hour conferences given by faculty from the Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School and Rutgers-Newark Beth Israel Medical Center residency programs. These conferences are protected learning time with didactic, interactive, and case-based conferences given by the core teaching faculty from the two sites.

Brandt and Helms conference: Weekly quizzes and discussion on specific high-yield chapters in the Brandt and Helms textbook for first-year residents led by senior residents over 26 weeks.

Interdepartmental Conferences

Tumor Board: With the Hematology/Oncology Department every Friday morning.

Pulmonary Tumor Board: With the Pulmonology and Hematology/Oncology Departments on the last Friday of every month.

M&M Conference: With Surgery and Pathology every Monday morning.

American Institute for Radiologic Pathology (AIRP): All residents attend the four-week course in Washington, D.C. during their third year of residency.
